iPad Data Recovery — Australia-Wide Specialist
Last Updated:
iPad data recovery covers all current iPad lines: iPad Pro (M-series), iPad Air (M-series), iPad mini, and standard iPad. We don’t repair iPads — but if your iPad is broken, dead, water-damaged, or you’ve lost important documents / photos, we can usually recover the data. Common scenarios: cracked screen, water spill, iPad won’t turn on, accidentally deleted Pages / Numbers / Keynote documents, iCloud restore failed during iPad-to-iPad migration.
iPad data recovery shares 95% of its tooling with iPhone — same Apple Secure Enclave architecture, same NAND storage chips, same DFU mode access. iPads are physically bigger which makes some workshop steps easier (better access to internals). Same caveat though: we can’t bypass forgotten passcodes (Apple’s hardware encryption is mathematically robust).

Common Issues & How We Fix Them
We recover data from every iPad generation — whether it has been dropped in water, cracked, locked or simply will not switch on.
Liquid or water damage
Spills and water exposure corrode the iPad’s logic board over time. We clean and stabilise the board and recover your photos, notes and documents — the sooner it reaches us powered off, the better the outcome.
Won’t turn on or won’t charge
A dead iPad often still holds all its data. We isolate whether the fault is the battery, the charging port or the board, and recover the contents where the tablet itself cannot be brought back.
Cracked screen with data still inside
Because the iPad’s glass and display are bonded, a heavy crack can stop you reaching your files. We back the data up first — before any screen work — so nothing is lost during the repair.
Accidentally deleted photos or files
We attempt recovery of recently deleted photos, notes and documents from the iPad and any linked iCloud or computer backup, and give you a realistic picture of what can be retrieved.
Won’t boot after an update or is stuck on the Apple logo
A failed iPadOS update can leave the tablet looping or in recovery mode. We recover the data rather than taking the erase-and-restore route that wipes everything.
We work on a no-recovery, no-fee basis: if your data cannot be recovered there is nothing to pay, and we give you a clear quote before any chargeable work begins.
