How long does an MSI Summit battery replacement take?
A genuine 82 Wh battery swap on Summit E13, E14 or E16 models usually takes 60 to 90 minutes once the unit is booked in. We image your drive first, fit the new pack, run calibration and return the laptop the same or next business day.
Can the Summit E16 Flip hinge be repaired or does it need a new screen assembly?
The 360° hinge can often be re-tensioned without replacing the entire lid. Our technicians open the hinge covers, replace worn washers and reset torque so the screen holds position again at a fraction of a full assembly cost.
Will MSI Summit Thunderbolt ports still work after a port repair?
Yes. We replace the damaged USB-C receptacle module on the mainboard and reflow surrounding joints so full Thunderbolt 4 data, video and charging functions are restored under the 90-day warranty.
Is the Summit fingerprint reader covered under the standard repair warranty?
