looking for friendly, capable IT support and helpdesk people to join our team. If you’re patient on the
phone, sharp with troubleshooting, and genuinely enjoy getting someone back up and running, this is the
job for you — with remote and work-from-home options available.
About the role
Our helpdesk and IT support team is the friendly first point of contact for customers across Australia.
You’ll diagnose issues over the phone and remotely, guide customers through fixes, and coordinate with our
field technicians when an onsite visit is needed. It’s real, varied tech work — not a script-reading call
centre — backed by a supportive team of experienced techs.
A typical day might include
- Answering customer calls and support requests with a calm, helpful manner
- Diagnosing hardware, software, network and connectivity problems
- Resolving issues remotely where possible, and walking customers through fixes
- Booking and coordinating onsite jobs with our field technicians
- Logging jobs accurately in our web-based platform
- Following up to make sure every customer is genuinely sorted
What you’ll need
- Strong all-round IT troubleshooting knowledge (Windows, macOS, networking, common apps)
- Excellent phone manner and written communication
- Patience and real empathy — many of our customers aren’t tech-savvy
- The ability to work independently and stay organised
- A reliable internet connection if working from home
- Previous helpdesk, service desk or desktop support experience is a plus (but attitude matters most)
