The 143 W power supply sits inside the lower aluminium base behind the stand hinge. Access requires removing the bonded 4.5 K display first, then disconnecting the internal DC harness before the PSU can be lifted out.
Can you repair an iMac M3 or M4 onsite?
We perform software diagnostics and some connector work onsite, but display or PSU repairs need the workshop because the bonded panel must be removed in a dust-controlled environment with the correct heating tools.
How long does a typical iMac M3/M4 screen replacement take?

Do M3 and M4 iMacs share the same replacement screen?
