iPhone Broken Screen Data Recovery — Get Photos, Messages, Contacts
Last Updated:
A smashed iPhone screen doesn’t damage your data — the storage chips are unaffected by glass damage. The only problem is you can’t see or use the screen to back the iPhone up. Our service: we connect the iPhone to a temporary working display + cable rig in our workshop, you authenticate (with your passcode), we back up to your specified storage, you walk away with all your data on an encrypted external drive.
This is one of our most common iPhone recoveries — about 40% of iPhone work. Standard turnaround is 48 hours from drop-off. We don’t replace your screen (Apple does that), but once we’ve recovered your data you can decide whether to repair the iPhone or buy a new one.
Common Issues & How We Fix Them
Smashed screen, data still safe
A cracked or black iPhone screen does not put your data at risk on its own. We fit a temporary display or read the device directly to back up your photos, messages and contacts before any screen repair.
Touch not responding
If the glass is intact but touch has died, we can still reach and recover your data through the workshop.
Black screen but it still rings
A phone that rings or buzzes but shows nothing usually has a display or backlight fault, not lost data — we recover everything and advise on the screen.
We work on a no-recovery, no-fee basis: if your data cannot be recovered there is nothing to pay, and we give you a clear quote before any chargeable work begins.
