My X1 Yoga Gen 4 keys won't retract in tablet mode — can it be fixed?

The retractable key mechanism on Gen 4 and Gen 5 models can be repaired by replacing worn scissor linkages and recalibrating the lid sensor. Workshop turnaround is two to three days with pricing from $380-$520 depending on parts availability.
