My Blade 14 only charges when the cable is at a certain angle — fix urgency?

Don’t wait. Once pin wear starts, it accelerates. Bring it in within a week or so — repair cost is the same whether we catch it early or late, but you avoid being suddenly unable to charge.

Will a third-party USB-C charger work?

Yes for 100W PD chargers (fallback mode — slower charge, may not sustain heavy gaming). For full performance you need the Razer 230W charger or equivalent USB-C PD 3.1 charger. We test with both during diagnostic.
