The Razer Blade Stealth was Razer’s premium ultraportable from 2015 to 2020 — 13.3-inch QHD touchscreen, MX150 / GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q discrete GPU (later generations), thin aluminium chassis. Razer discontinued the Stealth in favour of the Razer Book and Blade 14, but the AU installed base is still substantial.

Stealth-specific service patterns: battery swell is very common on 2018-2020 Stealths (small chassis, hot GPU, ages the pack faster), hinge wear on the 360-degree variants, USB-C port wear on the charging port (the Stealth charges over USB-C only). Razer discontinued the Stealth in 2020 — can I still get it repaired?

Yes — we stock batteries and screens for the popular 2018-2020 generations. Older generations (2015-2017) are harder but possible; lead times 7-14 business days for parts.

My Stealth touchscreen has dead spots — repairable?

Touch digitiser failure is fixed by replacing the panel-plus-digitiser assembly. Cost depends on year: $640-$1,100 fitted.

Battery swell on a Stealth — what to do?

STOP using it, disconnect from power, bring it in. The 53.1 Wh pack in a 13-inch chassis is high-density and dangerous when swollen. We dispose safely + fit a Razer-spec replacement. $480 fitted.

GTX 1650 Max-Q dead — fix?

BGA-soldered, no SKU swap. Reflow possible if it’s a thermal-cycling crack. Beyond reflow, the Stealth becomes an iGPU-only machine (still usable for everyday work).

Is the Stealth worth repairing in 2026?

Depends on the bill. A $480 battery + $80 paste is great value to keep a 2019-2020 Stealth running for 2-3 more years. A $1,400 motherboard plus other faults — at that point a Blade 14 or Razer Book makes more sense.
