Windows 8 & 8.1 Are End of Life — What That Means

Windows 8 had to be updated to 8.1 to stay supported, and Windows 8.1 reached end of support on 10 January 2023. Neither now receives security updates. Your PC keeps working, but the risk grows the longer it stays online. The good news: Windows 8.1 machines are usually newer than Windows 7 ones, so more of them can be upgraded — we’ll check yours.
