iPhone data recovery is one of our specialist services. We don’t repair iPhones — but if your iPhone is broken, dead, water-damaged, or locked and you can’t get your photos / messages / contacts / files out, we can usually help. Once we’ve recovered your data, you decide whether to take the iPhone to Apple for repair or move to a new device.
Common scenarios we recover from: cracked screen so bad you can’t type (the data is fine, just inaccessible), water damage (need to act fast on corrosion), iPhone won’t turn on (battery / logic-board issue but storage chips intact), locked iPhone with you still know the passcode (we recover with your authorisation), accidentally deleted photos or messages, iCloud backup restore failed on a new iPhone setup.
What we CAN’T recover: iPhones where you don’t know the passcode (this is mathematically impossible — Apple’s Secure Enclave makes the data inaccessible without the passcode by design), Activation Locked iPhones bought second-hand where the previous owner hasn’t signed out (that’s an Apple Support issue, not a data recovery issue). We’re upfront about these limits — no false hope.

These are the iPhone data-loss situations we see most often — and in most of them your photos, messages and contacts are still recoverable.
Liquid or water damage
Dropped in water, caught in rain or spilt on — the phone may still hold all of its data even when it will not switch on. We dry and clean the logic board, deal with corrosion, and recover your photos, messages and contacts. Bring it in powered off and do not try to charge it.
Won’t turn on, boot loop or stuck on the Apple logo
A black screen or endless Apple-logo loop usually points to a software or power fault rather than lost data. We work out whether it is the battery, the charging circuit or the storage, then recover the contents directly where the phone cannot be revived.
Stuck on ‘Attempting Data Recovery’
If your iPhone shows ‘Attempting Data Recovery’ after an update, forcing or interrupting it the wrong way can wipe everything. We handle this carefully in the workshop and extract your data rather than risk an erase.
Smashed or black screen, data still inside
A cracked or dead screen does not put your data at risk on its own. We fit a temporary display or read the device directly to back up your photos and messages before any screen repair.
Accidentally deleted photos, messages or contacts
Deleted does not always mean gone. We attempt recovery of recently removed photos, chats and contacts from the device and any linked backup, and tell you honestly what is realistically recoverable first.
Locked, disabled or forgotten passcode
A disabled or passcode-locked iPhone holding irreplaceable data is one of the hardest jobs — we assess your exact model and iOS version and tell you up front whether recovery is possible.
