Metabox Control Centre (the software that ships with every Metabox laptop) handles fan curves, RGB keyboard control, performance modes and system monitoring. It’s built on Clevo’s underlying Control Center software with Metabox branding. When it stops opening, won’t apply settings, or your AlienFX RGB goes dead — that’s almost always a Control Centre issue rather than hardware. We fix these remotely or in-workshop.

Common Issues & How We Fix Them
Control Centre won’t open
Usually permissions / Windows update mismatch. Reinstall from Metabox driver download page + re-grant admin rights. Free remote fix.
Fan curves not applying
Control Centre fan profile not loaded at boot — most common cause. Service registration or scheduled-task issue. Free remote fix.
RGB keyboard doesn’t light up
Control Centre is the RGB driver. If CC isn’t running, RGB stays off. Reinstall, re-flash keyboard firmware. Free if software-state.
Performance mode stuck on Eco
Embedded controller / Insyde BIOS profile mismatch. Reset Control Centre profiles + Insyde firmware reflash. Free remote support.
Control Centre version compatibility
Newer Windows builds occasionally break older Control Centre. We have version-specific installers for every Metabox / Clevo generation.
Won’t connect to Metabox cloud features
Metabox added some cloud sync features in newer Control Centre. Usually firewall or service-account issue. Free fix.
