Battery swell & runtime drop
Smaller cell, same chemistry. Plan on 3-4 years before swell becomes a concern. Don’t wait — a vented cell can damage the trackpad above it.
Surface Connect charging port
The Laptop Go uses the proprietary Surface Connect magnetic port like the main Laptop line. Pin wear is the failure mode; replacement flex is in workshop. 90 minutes.
