Microsoft Surface Pro 11 Repair — Snapdragon X & Copilot+

The Surface Pro 11 (2024) is Microsoft’s first true Copilot+ PC — Snapdragon X Plus or X Elite ARM SoC, integrated NPU for on-device AI, and an OLED display option on the top SKUs. As a brand-new device the Pro 11 is largely under warranty, but we’re already seeing edge-case repair work — accidental damage, drops, and a small batch of OLED panels with a manufacturing defect that Microsoft is replacing under warranty.
Out-of-warranty repair for accidental damage is where we come in. Workshop, 3-7 business days while we source parts (Pro 11 service parts are special-order at this stage of the product lifecycle).

Common Issues & How We Fix Them
Cracked OLED display (top-spec)
OLED assembly replacement on the Pro 11 is expensive — $1,000-$1,150 fitted, 5-7 business days for the part.
Cracked LCD display (entry/mid)
LCD assembly: $950-$1,050 fitted, 3-5 business days for the part.
USB-C / Thunderbolt 4 port wear
Pro 11 has two USB-C / Thunderbolt 4 ports. Replacement available.
Snapdragon X driver issues
The Snapdragon X is new — Windows-on-ARM drivers, app compatibility quirks and the occasional firmware update bug. We have the Qualcomm Snapdragon firmware tools and the experience.
Copilot+ NPU not detected
Rare — the NPU is an integrated part of the SoC. If Windows reports the Copilot+ NPU as missing, it’s almost always a driver state we can recover from.
Battery (new device, low incidence)
Pro 11 batteries are well within service life. We’d only expect to see drop-and-pierce damage at this stage.
