That’s almost certainly battery swell. The 80 Wh pack is pushing the chassis bottom outward and lifting the trackpad from below. STOP using the laptop, disconnect from power, bring it in immediately — a swollen lithium-polymer pack is a fire risk.

OLED panel cost on Blade 15 Advanced?

$1,800-$2,200 fitted depending on year. The 4K OLED 60Hz panel (Samsung Display) is the same across multiple generations so we can sometimes pull from refurb stock at lower cost.

RTX 3080 GPU on Blade 15 Advanced — replaceable?

No, RTX 3080 mobile is BGA-soldered to the motherboard. We can do BGA reflow if the failure is thermal-related (cracked solder joints from thermal cycling); we can’t swap to a different SKU. Cost $580-$880 for reflow.

Liquid metal on the Blade 15 Advanced — service interval?

Razer’s official guidance is ‘no service needed’. Reality from our workshop: 24-36 months, you’ll see CPU pump-out symptoms. Reapply with proper nickel-foil dam to stop liquid metal migration onto SMD components.
