About the role

You’ll be the remote Mac expert customers turn to when their MacBook, iMac or Mac mini plays up. Over the phone and via secure remote-access sessions, you’ll diagnose and resolve macOS issues — slow performance, startup and update problems, iCloud and Apple ID headaches, app crashes, storage and backup setup. When a job needs physical hardware work (a battery, screen or logic-board fault), you’ll hand it across to our field technicians. Genuine, varied Apple troubleshooting with a supportive team behind you.

A typical day might include

Taking customer calls and remote support requests with a calm, helpful manner
Running secure remote sessions to diagnose and fix macOS issues live
Resolving slow Macs, startup problems, macOS update failures and app crashes
Sorting iCloud, Apple ID, Mail, Time Machine backups and Migration Assistant
Helping with storage clean-ups, performance tuning and everyday Mac apps
Logging jobs accurately in our web-based platform and following up so the customer is genuinely sorted

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on macOS troubleshooting knowledge across MacBook, iMac and Mac mini
Confidence driving remote-access tools on Mac (TeamViewer, AnyDesk or similar)
Good grasp of iCloud, Apple ID, Time Machine, Migration Assistant and the App Store
Excellent phone manner and clear written communication
Patience and real empathy — many of our customers aren’t tech-savvy
A reliable home internet connection and a quiet space to take calls
Previous Mac support, Apple retail/AppleCare or repair experience is a plus (attitude matters most)
