How much does a MacBook Air battery replacement cost in Australia?
For M1 to M4 models we quote $380-$580 fitted including the 52 Wh or 66 Wh cell, new adhesive strips and SMC recalibration. The job is completed same day in our workshop or on-site.
Can you repair a cracked MacBook Air screen without replacing the whole lid?
The Retina panel is bonded to the glass so the entire display assembly must be replaced. We fit a new OEM-spec lid assembly for $750-$1,100 depending on 13-inch or 15-inch size and restore True Tone calibration.
My M2 Air won't charge unless I wiggle the MagSafe cable — is that the port?
Yes, the MagSafe 3 flex cable commonly fatigues after 18-24 months. We replace the flex for $320-$420 and test with a genuine 30 W charger before returning the machine.
Do you still service 2018-2020 Intel MacBook Air models?
We continue to service the last Intel Airs for battery, USB-C port and top-case replacements. Butterfly keyboards are handled via full top-case swap because individual key mechanisms are not sold separately.
Is liquid damage repair worth it on an M-series MacBook Air?
If we receive the unit within 24 hours we perform an ultrasonic clean of the logic board and replace corroded components. Success rate is high but depends on how much liquid reached the soldered SSD and memory.
